                          AI use for your Dissertation is Academic Misconduct – and will be investigated

A strong reminder that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for your Dissertation is explicitly BANNED in the Department of Social Policy.

Therefore, the use of AI in producing your Dissertation would constitute Academic Misconduct and be investigated, with potentially severe penalties.

If AI use is suspected, this will be investigated according to the School’s Academic Misconduct regulations. This investigation would include conducting an interview to ascertain if the work in question is AI generated.

Please refrain from using AI in producing your Dissertation to avoid this necessity.
