At LSE Gender, your dissertation is an Independent Research Project. It is designed to provide you with an opportunity to pursue and produce self-directed research on a area/issue of your own interest. 

The Independent Research Project module is designed to facilitate your own learning on how to conduct original research independently, with help where needed in the development stages.
