This course is designed for students who want to learn about empirical methods in political science research by actually conducting some. The course assumes no previous knowledge of statistics or survey techniques and will teach general principles of survey and interview-based research in the context of one particular area of the discipline – public policy and administration.  Students will read practical and theoretical material surrounding survey research, with particular focus on the self-administered survey that we expect to use for the project this year, and apply it.  This year (23/24) we will be exploring the world of residents' and tenants' associations.
