Objectives:
• To provide students with an understanding of the major sociological perspectives on social inequality in work and labour markets;
• To equip students with a set of theoretical and conceptual tools that will enable them to examine inequality at work;
• To introduce students to a body of knowledge on patterns of social inequality across work and labour markets.
