Your programme provides a unique social science and practical policy-oriented approach to the study of psychology and behavioural science. As well as developing core knowledge and skills, you will learn to apply its theories and findings to the real world, to understand important social issues and to propose possible solutions. You’ll learn about core approaches including cognitive, neuroscientific, social, developmental and individual differences. You will also develop skills in research methods so that you can design and conduct empirical research. You’ll acquire techniques in statistical analysis and interpretation to allow your results to be analysed and presented to have significant impact on real-world policy. You will also learn to be a sophisticated and critical interpreter of research and policy.
