An evening of drama by Bernard Shaw, reflecting his view of the USSR as a utopia of his own times. Epifania , the richest woman in England, undertakes the transformation of an ailing business, all in the cause of winning a wager and the husband she wishes. Shaw specially rewrote the ending after his euphoric 1931 trip to the USSR.

Introduced by Prof Michael Cox. Interval drinks reception. FREE and open to all. Entry: first come first served. Shaw Library, 6th Floor LSE Old Building, FEBRUARY 25TH 6.00-8.30   p.m.
