As the previously-reported problem has not yet been resolved, and given the potential implications for staff and students (particularly during the upcoming January exam period), Panorama will be temporarily out of service until Yuja have fixed the issue

We are working closely with our partners at Yuja, and hope to be able to provide an update regarding the likely timeframe for reinstating the Panorama service on our return from the closure period.

For now, these are the important points to note:
  1. Effective from end of day on December 16th the Yuja Panorama accessibility plugin will not be available within Moodle. 
  2. It is no longer necessary for staff to manually update Moodle resources, as was indicated in our previous advice. When we switch off Panorama, the problems introduced by the bug will no longer be present. 
  3. Students will not be able to generate documents in alternative formats themselves from within Moodle. However, Eden Digital staff can supply these to departments on request. (This may take up to 48 hrs.) 
  4. Eden Digital can convert documents to alternative accessible formats in advance for any exams, assignments or documents if provided with a list of resources where this is required.
