SA452.3(a): Researching and Writing Assessed Essays and Dissertations
Also known as Navigating the Research Process, this resource has been developed by Dr Sunil Kumar, Social Policy. It is a non-assessed online resource that provides guidance on the following research elements: introduction, literature search, literature review, research question, conceptual frameworks, analysis, conclusions, and referencing your work. It is a generic course, for use by undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students, in their own time. It is important that you check the particular requirements of the courses you are registered for (word length, format etc). To find out more enrol today.

The Library Companion for Students
The Library Companion is available to all LSE students and is particularly useful for new students as it includes essential information about finding your way around the library. It also includes online training information about: using the library catalogue and e-journals; getting to grips with the internet; citing and referencing; using Endnote reference management software; and lots more topics. If you need more help, you can also book a place on a library training session. To find out more register for the Library Companion today!
